Historically Dantewada in the heart of Bastar, Dantewada in the state of Chhattisgarh, India दंतेवाड़ा भारत की सबसे पुरानी बसाहटों में से एक है। जिन्होंने अपना जीवन जीने का तरीका नहीं बदला, अपने मधुर लोक गीतों को अपने दिलों में बसाये रखा, जिनके बाशिंदों की मोहक मुस्कान हमारा दिल जीत लेती है। इस शहर का नाम इस क्षेत्र की आराध्य देवी माँ दंतेश्वरी के नाम से पड़ा। - यहाँ पर माँ-भंजा मंदिर, चंद्रदाय मंदिर, बाटिसा मंदिर और भगवान गणेश जी का मंदिर दर्शनीय है/
